FAQ

Any questions?

  • What is your turnaround time?

Each item has its own turnaround time, and we list it with every service in business days. Some items, like stickers, also have a rush option.

  • I don't have a file but I want to get something printed. What do I do?

That's no problem! We can help make your vision a reality. Contact us to get started.

  • Why do the printed colors look different from the colors on my screen?

In short, printers and monitors produce colors in different ways. Monitors use the RGB (red, green, blue) color model, which usually supports a wider range of colors. Printers use the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color model, which can reproduce most, but not all, of the colors in RGB. Depending on the equipment, CMYK generally matches 85–90% of RGB colors.

When a color is outside the CMYK range, the software picks the closest match it can. Programs like Adobe Photoshop let you choose the replacement color; others may not.

  • Do you have a checklist for uploading my files?

Yes. Most issues happen in three areas, and files that miss them can delay production.

Resolution: 300 dpi at the exact size of the piece. A 4″ × 6″ flyer should be a 4″ × 6″ file at 300 dpi. Many programs default to 72 dpi, so check before you upload.

Size: make sure the file is the same size as the product you are ordering. A 2.75″ × 4.25″ flyer needs a 2.75″ × 4.25″ file.

Safe area: keep text, borders and anything that can't be trimmed at least 1/8″ from every edge so it stays safe when the piece is cut.
